Arvid Lindblad Showcases F1 Skills at Red Bull Moto Jam in India

Racing Bulls Formula One driver Arvid Lindblad made a special appearance at the second edition of Red Bull Moto Jam, a unique motorsport spectacle that provided Indian fans with an immersive live experience. The event offered enthusiasts the rare opportunity to see Lindblad drive a Formula One car up close, creating unforgettable memories for attendees.

Historic Return to India Before F1 Debut

Lindblad, who is only the third-ever Formula One driver of Indian heritage, returned to India just one week before his highly anticipated Formula One debut. He performed in front of enthusiastic fans at the India Expo Centre in Noida, located in the Delhi National Capital Region. This region holds special significance for motorsport fans, having previously hosted three Formula One Grands Prix at the renowned Buddh International Circuit.

The young driver took to the wheel of Sebastian Vettel's 2012 World Championship-winning RB8, which was presented in VCARB livery for the occasion. This marked a symbolic connection between past Formula One glory and the sport's promising future represented by Lindblad.

Holi Celebration with Formula One Flair

As part of the Red Bull Moto Jam celebrations, the VCARB-branded RB8 driven by Lindblad paid tribute to the festival of Holi on March 3. Continuing a tradition established during previous Red Bull showruns in India, the car released vibrant colored powder, known as gulal, into the air. This created a spectacular visual display that beautifully merged high-performance motorsport with India's beloved festival of colors.

Buddh International Circuit Showcase Run

Prior to the main event, former Formula One driver Karun Chandhok took the VCARB-branded RB8 to the Buddh International Circuit for a special showcase run. This marked a significant moment for Indian motorsport, as it was the first time in thirteen years that a Formula One car had run at the iconic venue. The demonstration reignited memories of India's Formula One history and showcased the circuit's continued relevance in the global motorsport landscape.

Multi-Disciplinary Motorsport Extravaganza

The Red Bull Moto Jam festival featured multiple motorsport disciplines, with several Red Bull athletes demonstrating their exceptional skills. Lebanese drifting champion Abdo Feghali captivated the audience alongside stunt rider Aras Gibieza. Global stunt athlete Abdulrahman AlRaeesi delivered breathtaking performances, while Roman Karymov led the exciting motocross action. Freestyle motocross riders Sebastian Westberg and Greg Rowbottom further enhanced the spectacle with their daring maneuvers.

Lindblad's Emotional Connection to India

Arvid Lindblad expressed his gratitude for the experience, stating: "It was such a unique opportunity to be part of the Red Bull Moto Jam event and be able to drive an F1 car in India. Having the chance to be behind the wheel in this country, whose culture truly shaped me during my childhood, was really special. From kicking off the weekend by visiting the historical India Gate in Delhi to seeing all the fans cheering for me during the exhibition, it was such a nice moment. I hope they had a great time. A huge thank you to everyone involved; there couldn't have been a better way to kick off my F1 season before going to Melbourne next week."
