The day also featured a hat-trick from Chirag Luhach, though it proved insufficient for his side.
Flying Fire Delhi Chargers chase down Sonipat Kings
Sonipat Kings batted first and posted 151 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. Naitik Yadav top-scored with 43 runs, while Tanishq Kumar contributed 29. Uttkarsh was the standout bowler for Flying Fire Delhi Chargers, claiming 3 for 27, supported by Raunak Bhatia's 2 for 34.
In reply, Flying Fire Delhi Chargers reached 152 for 5 in 19.1 overs, winning with five balls to spare. Bhuvnesh Kumar remained unbeaten on 55 off 38 balls, anchoring the chase. Uttkarsh also impressed with the bat, scoring 45 runs. For Sonipat Kings, Naitik Yadav and Kartik Atri took one wicket each. Uttkarsh was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance of 45 runs and 3 for 27.
Noida Blaze post 195, hold off Gurugram Vipers despite hat-trick
Noida Blaze built a formidable total of 195 for 9 in 20 overs, powered by Ekam Deep's 71 off 42 balls. Naitik Bhati contributed 45 runs and Saksham Aswal added a quickfire 30. Chirag Luhach gave Gurugram Vipers a glimmer of hope by taking a hat-trick, dismissing Dev Nagar, Ayush Maurya, and Archit in consecutive deliveries. He finished with figures of 3 for 23.
However, Gurugram Vipers could only manage 153 all out in 19.3 overs, falling short by 42 runs. Amogh Sirohi top-scored with 38, while Ayan Ali made 31. Dev Nagar was the pick of the Noida Blaze bowlers with 3 for 17, and Sufiyan took 2 for 30. Ekam Deep was named Player of the Match for his match-winning 71.
Day 4 fixtures
Day 4 of the tournament, scheduled for June 27, will feature Karim Capital Chargers taking on Jayqoo Panthers Faridabad, followed by Bahadurgarh Royals facing Meerut Spartans.
