Toyota Fortuner Price Hiked by Up to Rs 87,000

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revised the prices of its popular full-size SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, with increases reaching up to Rs 87,000 across the range. This marks the second price hike for the Fortuner in 2026, following a previous adjustment in January that set the starting price at Rs 34.16 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Price Range

With the latest revision, the Fortuner now starts at Rs 34.76 lakh and goes up to Rs 48.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end Legender trim. The hike applies to all variants, including petrol and diesel options, as well as 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains.

Breakdown of Price Increases

  • Petrol and Diesel 2WD Variants: The 2.7-litre petrol 2WD automatic and 2.8-litre diesel 2WD manual have seen a uniform increase of Rs 60,000.
  • Diesel 2WD Automatic: These variants have become dearer by Rs 65,000.
  • Diesel 4WD Manual: The 2.8-litre diesel 4WD manual now costs Rs 67,000 more.
  • Mild-Hybrid Diesel Variants: A price jump of Rs 75,000 has been applied.
  • GR-S 4WD Automatic: The range-topping variant has been hit with the highest hike of Rs 87,000.

Fortuner Legender Price Revision

The more premium Fortuner Legender has also become pricier by up to Rs 83,000. The 4x2 diesel automatic variant is now priced at Rs 42.92 lakh, while the manual version costs Rs 45.08 lakh after a Rs 78,000 increase. The 4x4 mild-hybrid diesel variant of the Legender now comes in at Rs 62.86 lakh (ex-showroom) following an Rs 83,000 revision.

Engine Specifications

The Fortuner continues with its existing engine options. The 2.7-litre petrol engine produces around 166 hp and 245 Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox in 2WD form. The more popular 2.8-litre diesel engine delivers up to 204 hp and up to 500 Nm of torque, offered with both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, along with a mild-hybrid setup in select variants.
