Virat Kohli has been recalled to India's ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England, pending fitness clearance, after missing the Afghanistan series due to an injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad on Sunday.
Three-match ODI series against England
The three-match ODI series against England is scheduled to begin on July 16. Kohli's return adds experience to the batting lineup, which will be led by Shubman Gill as captain.
Axar Patel also returns
Axar Patel has also been included in the ODI squad after being absent from the Afghanistan series. The all-rounder's comeback strengthens the team's spin-bowling options.
