MahaMetro Warns Against Recruitment Scams in Nagpur

Nagpur: MahaMetro has issued a public warning against a growing number of recruitment scams in which fraudsters are duping job seekers by offering fake employment opportunities in Nagpur Metro. The agency has urged citizens, particularly unemployed youth, to verify all recruitment-related information through official channels only.

According to MahaMetro, anti-social elements have created fake websites, circulated misleading emails, and even issued forged appointment letters bearing the names and signatures of Metro officials to extort money from job aspirants. In some cases, fraudsters have falsely claimed to have connections with Metro officials and promised jobs in exchange for money.

An FIR has been registered at Bajaj Nagar Police Station, while another complaint submitted through the Cyber Cell has been forwarded to Sonegaon Police Station for further action.
