Gorakhpur: Three students from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) secured Rs 45 lakh per annum packages from Amazon during the campus placement drive, while one student was offered Rs 21 lakh per annum by Engineers India Ltd (EIL). The university recorded its best-ever placement performance, securing more than 1,100 job offers from over 120 companies during the 2025–26 placement season.

Major recruiters included TCS, IBM, Accenture, Amazon, HCL, Larsen & Toubro, Ericsson, BNP Paribas India Solutions, Tata Advanced Systems, Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd, Hyundai Motor India, MG Motor India, Apollo Tyres, Havells, Engineers India Ltd (EIL), UltraTech, and Shree Cement.
Other Notable Offers
Josh Technology Group offered Rs 14.23 lakh per annum to three students, BEL hired 14 students at Rs 12.5 lakh per annum, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd selected two students at Rs 12.36 lakh per annum.
Professor V K Dwivedi, professor-in-charge of training and placement, said recruitment activities are continuing, with several companies scheduled to visit the campus. Vice-chancellor Prof Anupama Kaushik Sharma congratulated students, faculty members, and the placement cell on the achievement.
