The higher education department of Odisha has officially notified admissions for its free residential UPSC Civil Services Coaching Programme for the 2026-27 session. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive coaching to 200 aspirants who are domiciled in Odisha.
Programme Details
Selected candidates will receive free residential coaching, which includes food and accommodation, for a period of 11 months. The coaching will cover preparation for both the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary and Main examinations.
Entrance Examination
Admission to the programme will be based on a pre-qualifying entrance examination scheduled to be held on June 28. Candidates must appear for this exam to be considered for selection.
Application Process
The Common Application Form (CAF) will be made available on the SAMS portal starting from Monday. Interested candidates can submit their applications online until June 19. The application fee is set at Rs 100, which must be paid during the application process.
Admit cards for the entrance exam will be released on June 24 through both the HIMS and SAMS portals. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from these portals once they are available.
