The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced a postponement of the written examination for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2025. Initially scheduled for June 20, 2026, the test will now be conducted on June 28, 2026.
Reason for Postponement
According to the commission, the examination has been deferred due to unavoidable circumstances linked to the NEET (UG) 2026 examination. This change affects candidates applying for the posts of Revenue Inspector (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, ICDS Supervisor, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS).

The commission has published an official notice regarding the postponement on its website. Candidates preparing for the examination are advised to check the detailed notification on the official OSSSC portal for further information.
Additional Preparation Time
With the postponement, candidates gain an extra eight days to prepare before appearing for the examination. Apart from the revised date, all other conditions of the recruitment process remain unchanged.
Revised Admit Cards
Following the schedule change, OSSSC will issue fresh admit cards for all candidates. The revised admission letters will be available for download starting from June 24, 2026.

Candidates can download their revised admit cards by following these steps:
- Visit the official OSSSC website at www.osssc.gov.in
- Click on the admit card section on the homepage
- Select the relevant CRE-2025 examination link
- Enter your User ID and Password
- Submit the details and view the admit card
- Download and print a copy for future reference
The commission has clarified that the examination pattern and format will remain unchanged. All instructions, eligibility conditions, and other terms mentioned in earlier notifications continue to apply. Candidates are advised to download the revised admit card and carefully check the details mentioned in it.
