Restrictions on Commercial Establishments
According to the official order, Xerox shops, cyber centres, and computer centres operating within the prohibited area must remain shut during the exam hours. This measure is intended to prevent any malpractices or unauthorized assistance to candidates.
Areas Under Prohibition
The prohibitory orders cover a specified radius around each exam centre. Local authorities have been directed to enforce the restrictions strictly. Violators may face legal action under relevant sections of the law.
The NEET-UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be held on 19 June 2026 across multiple centres in Bengaluru. The decision to re-conduct the exam came after concerns were raised about irregularities in the previous test.
Security Arrangements
Additional security personnel have been deployed at exam centres to ensure a secure environment. Candidates are advised to arrive early and carry all necessary documents.
Authorities have also urged the public to cooperate with the restrictions and avoid gathering near exam centres.
