Remedial Teaching Unit Tests for Classes 11 and 12

Following government directives to improve learning outcomes and increase student interest, subject experts have introduced four remedial teaching unit tests in all Class 11 and 12 subjects. These tests will be conducted at the school level to assess students' understanding and provide timely academic support. However, marks obtained in these unit tests will not be reflected in the final marksheet.

Changes in Science and Home Science Subjects

Another key reform pertains to High School level Science and Home Science subjects. The Board has replaced internal assessment with practical work, and students will now be required to appear in public practical examinations for these subjects.

UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh stated that the revisions were finalized after curriculum committee meetings and a detailed review of the syllabi by subject experts. The updated courses for all High School and Intermediate subjects have been uploaded on the Board’s website for the 2026-27 academic session.
