The Salesforce CEO is among a group of the world's leading tech billionaires and AI pioneers who have flown to the 52nd G7 Summit in Evian, France. Reports indicate that these top tech executives will address frontier AI risks, global data infrastructure, and digital sovereignty.

In a separate post, he shared a selfie with Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch. "Great to be at the G7 with @demishassabis, @vonderleyen, and @arthurmensch discussing how to innovate, grow, and develop infrastructure with the fundamental basis of trusted AI platforms," Benioff said.

Tech Titans Take Centre Stage at G7 Summit

Alongside Benioff, the exclusive lunch meeting saw attendance from Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), Dario Amodei (CEO of Anthropic), Aidan Gomez (CEO of Cohere), and Robin Rombach (Founder of Black Forest Labs), as reported by CNBC. The founders of rising international AI firms, including Japan's Sakana and India's Sarvam, were also present.

According to a press briefing from France's Élysée Palace, a key focus of the discussion was urging these tech firms to develop strict, built-in tools to ensure the safety and protection of minors online.

PM Modi Meets Global Leaders

While tech executives discussed infrastructure, PM Modi held wide-ranging interactions with European Council Chief António Costa, Kenyan President William Ruto, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, as per ANI.

Meanwhile, the official G7 page posted a picture of world leaders seated at a roundtable as the G7 session took place. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz was seated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's left side, while US President Donald Trump was on his right side. He also met US President Donald Trump.
