Sonam Wangchuk begins hunger strike at Jantar Mantar

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk on Saturday joined the Climate Justice Protest (CJP) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and began a hunger strike, demanding immediate action on climate change. Before starting the strike, Wangchuk and CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke visited Rajghat to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.

The protest, organized by the Climate Justice Protest group, has been ongoing for several days at Jantar Mantar. Wangchuk, known for his activism in Ladakh, said, "We need urgent measures to protect our planet for future generations." According to organizers, over 200 protesters have joined the demonstration.
