Bajaj Pulsar 220F Gets LED Headlamp, Price Rs 1.36 Lakh

Bajaj Auto has introduced the updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F in the Indian market at a price of Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration comes with a price increase of Rs 8,000 compared to the previous model. Customers can book the motorcycle online or through their nearest dealership, with deliveries expected to commence shortly.

Key Updates in the Pulsar 220F

The most significant change in the updated Pulsar 220F is the new LED headlamp unit that integrates LED daytime running lights. This replaces the earlier halogen projector setup, giving the motorcycle a more modern appearance while maintaining its iconic semi-faired front design.

Features and Technology

The motorcycle continues to offer a mobile charging port and an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The cluster supports turn-by-turn navigation and other smart features, enhancing rider convenience.

Design and Styling

Apart from the headlamp upgrade, there are no major styling revisions. The Pulsar 220F retains its familiar silhouette and bodywork that have been synonymous with the model for years.

Engine and Performance

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 220cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.9hp and 18.6Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Suspension and Brakes

The hardware setup includes telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 90/90-section front and 120/80-section rear tyres. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels, with single-channel ABS as standard.

December 2025 marked the last major update for this model, which introduced revised graphics, LED indicator lights, and new colour options. The latest update focuses primarily on the lighting system to keep the model competitive in its segment.
