Amazon Prime Day 2026 sale in India dates are officially announced. This year marks the 10th anniversary edition of the event, and to celebrate the 10-year milestone, the e-commerce platform is introducing specialised “10th Anniversary deals” and temporary price cuts on its membership plans. Amazon Prime Day 2026 sale is scheduled to begin at 12:00 am on July 4 and will run until 11:59 pm on July 6, giving Prime members a 72-hour window of discounts, product launches, and entertainment options. The annual Prime membership fee of Rs 1,499 has been reduced by Rs 500 to Rs 999 for a limited period. Similarly, Prime Lite is available for Rs 599 per year (down from Rs 799), and the Prime Shopping Edition is priced at Rs 299 per year (down from Rs 399).
Amazon Prime Day 2026 Sale: Bank Offers and Incentives
Shoppers can access various financial discounts during the three-day sale period. Amazon is offering a 10% instant discount on transactions made using SBI and Axis Bank credit cards, including EMI options. Furthermore, users with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card will receive an unlimited 5% cashback on their purchases. For larger orders, the Amazon Pay Later service will allow interest-free EMIs split over three installments on shopping carts valued at ₹1,500 or more.
New Product Launches and Brand Partners
The 2026 Prime Day sale will feature the debut of more than 500 new products from over 100 major domestic and global brands. Prominent companies participating in the event include Samsung, OnePlus, Lego, Adidas, Lenovo, Bosch, LG, and Puma. In addition to established brands, the sale will highlight items from small and medium businesses (SMBs), women entrepreneurs, local weavers, and artisans, including women-led brands such as Mille and DC Doctor’s Choice.
Integration of AI Shopping Tools
Amazon is integrating several artificial intelligence tools into its Indian platform to assist shoppers during the sale. The conversational AI assistant, Rufus, will be available to help users compare items, check price insights, and view personalized product recommendations. Other AI features include Lens AI for visual searches based on images, AI Review Highlights to summarize customer feedback, and automated buying guides to simplify the decision-making process. To mark the decade-long journey of the service in India, the platform is also launching "Prime Playback." Available to select members starting June 18, this AI-powered tool generates a personalized video highlighting a user's shopping milestones, accumulated savings, and viewing history.
Travel Discounts and Smart Device Offers
Beyond physical merchandise, Amazon Pay is extending discounts into travel bookings:
- Flights: Customers can get a 10% instant discount via MakeMyTrip, alongside an additional 10% cashback (up to ₹1,000) and 5% cashback through the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
- Hotels & Buses: Select hotel properties will offer discounts up to 75% with a flat ₹100 cashback, while bus ticket bookings will receive up to 17% off.
Amazon’s own line of hardware is also seeing price reductions. Echo smart speakers, smart displays, and Fire TV devices will see discounts of up to 45%. New hardware models, including the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, and Fire TV Stick HD, will also be featured during the sale window.
Early Entertainment Premieres on Prime Video
The entertainment wing, Prime Video, is starting its anniversary celebrations early with a slate of Indian and international titles across multiple genres. The lineup includes the debut of the investigative crime thriller Raakh, the comedy-dramas The Pyramid Scheme and Gram Chikitsalay Season 2, and a daily reality series titled Alliance, which will release new episodes every day at noon starting June 26. Post-theatrical digital premieres for major Indian films like Karuppu, Drishyam 3, and Dacoit will also launch on the platform, alongside international releases such as Scream 7, Elle, and the anime series Ghost in the Shell.
