Oppo Reno16 Series Set for India Launch
Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno16 series in India, following the Find X9 series. The lineup includes three variants: the budget Reno16C, standard Reno16, and premium Reno16 Pro. A special 3D Pop Planet Design, developed in collaboration with BABYMONSTER, will be available for select models.
Reno16 Pro: Top-Tier Specifications
The Reno16 Pro features a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 chipset. It packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The camera setup includes a triple rear configuration: a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
Standard Reno16 and Reno16C Details
The standard Reno16 comes with a 120Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a 6,500mAh battery, and triple 50MP cameras. The Reno16C is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, optical image stabilization (OIS), and 45W charging. All models support fast charging, with the Pro variant offering the highest 80W speed.
Expected Price Increase
Due to rising RAM and storage chipset prices, the Reno16 series is expected to launch at significantly higher prices compared to its predecessor. According to industry sources, the cost of components has increased, impacting the final retail price.
