Hazaribag police on Sunday dismantled an alleged brown sugar trafficking network in Dipugarha under Korra police station, apprehending three individuals and seizing 20.5 grams of the narcotic. The arrested persons have been identified as Roshan Kumar, Sandeep Kumar Dangi, and Saurabh Kumar Dangi.
Operation Details
Acting on a tip-off received by Hazaribag Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar, the police conducted a raid near Gibraltar House. Sadar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Amit Anand confirmed that the operation led to the seizure of three smartphones, a motorcycle, and an SUV from the spot.
Legal Proceedings
A case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered at Korra police station (Case No. 81/2026). All three accused were produced before a court and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
