HRTC Free Bus Travel for NEET 2026 Candidates June 20-22

The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has announced free travel for students appearing in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance (NEET) re-test scheduled for June 21. This initiative aims to ease the commute for candidates and ensure they reach their examination centres without any financial burden.

Free Travel Details

An HRTC spokesperson confirmed that the free travel facility will be available on ordinary buses. Candidates can avail this benefit by presenting their NEET-2026 Admit Card, which serves as proof of identity, residence, and examination centre. The concession covers one onward journey from the candidate’s place of residence to the exam centre and one return journey back. This facility will be valid from June 20 to June 22.

Preventing Misuse

To avoid any misuse, bus conductors have been instructed to make necessary entries on the candidate's admit card for each journey undertaken under this concession. All HRTC unit officers have been directed to ensure strict compliance and maintain a proper record of students availing the facility.
