A 17-year-old boy died of a heart attack in Bengaluru on Thursday while fleeing from an alleged phone snatching attempt, police said. The victim, identified as Junaid, collapsed near his home in the city's southern suburb after he managed to escape from the suspects.

Incident Details

According to the police, Junaid was walking near his house around 8 pm when two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch his mobile phone. He resisted and ran away, but after running a short distance, he collapsed. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Medical History

Police said Junaid had a history of heart-related ailments and had previously undergone a stent implantation procedure. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after an autopsy.
