An Indian Air Force AN-32 transport aircraft crashed during a routine sortie near Jorhat, Assam, on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of all five personnel aboard. The IAF has initiated an inquiry into the incident.

Centre Appoints Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth as Next Army Chief
The Centre on Saturday named Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth as the next Chief of the Army Staff, effective June 30, 2026. Delhi Electricity Bills to Rise from July
