Two individuals lost their lives in separate late-night road accidents in Bengaluru, according to police reports. The incidents occurred in different parts of the city, highlighting the risks on roads during late hours.

Accident near Tavarekere Junction

In one of the incidents, a 23-year-old private firm employee was fatally struck by a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus near Tavarekere Junction. The victim, identified as Ravi Kumar, was crossing the road when the bus hit him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The bus driver has been taken into custody for questioning.

Second fatal incident

In another accident, a 35-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a stationary lorry on the outskirts of the city. The deceased was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Police are investigating the circumstances and have registered cases of rash driving.
