The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is all set to announce the West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) result for 2026 tomorrow, on May 14, 2026. Students who appeared for the Class 12 board examinations can access their results once the official link is activated on the designated websites.
Result Declaration Schedule
According to the official notification, the Higher Secondary results will first be declared at 10:30 AM through an official announcement. However, students will be able to view their individual marksheets online from 11 AM onwards through the official result portals. Last year, the West Bengal Class 12 results were declared on May 7, 2025, at 12:30 PM, with a pass percentage of 90.79 percent. The authorities are expected to release a list of toppers after the results are declared.

The provisional marksheet will contain important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, board details, class, stream, marks obtained in each subject, grade, total marks, and qualifying status.

- After logging in, go to the "Issued Documents" section.
- Select the option for education documents or board examination certificates.
- Choose West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education from the list of education boards.
- Enter the required details such as roll number and examination year.
- Submit the information to access the WB HS Result 2026 digital marksheet.
- Download and save the scorecard for future use.
Minimum Marks Needed to Pass
As per the criteria laid down by the board, students are required to secure at least 30 percent marks in every subject to pass the West Bengal Higher Secondary examination. The overall score includes theory, practical, and project components. Candidates must also separately obtain a minimum of 30 percent marks in both the theory papers and the practical or project sections to qualify successfully for higher studies.
Distribution of Original Mark Sheets
The council has also announced that hard copies of mark sheets, pass certificates, and registration certificates will be distributed on May 14 from 11 AM onwards. These documents will be made available through 56 distribution centres set up across West Bengal. Schools will collect the documents from the centres and later distribute them to students.
