IMD Forecast Predicts Temperature Variations Across Gujarat
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather outlook for Saturday suggests maximum and minimum temperatures around 31°C and 21°C, respectively, in Ahmedabad. For Gujarat as a whole, the forecast indicates a rise in maximum temperature by 2°C to 3°C over the next 48 hours, followed by a subsequent drop of 2°C to 3°C. The minimum temperature is expected to remain stable initially, with a potential fall of 2°C to 3°C after this period.
Regional Weather Patterns: Light Rain and Cloudy Skies
Parts of central and south Gujarat experienced changes in weather conditions on Friday. Light rainfall was reported in districts such as Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, and Narmada, while other regions saw partly cloudy skies. Temperature extremes were observed elsewhere in the state, with Rajkot recording the highest maximum temperature at 35.3°C and Keshod noting the lowest minimum temperature at 15.7°C.
