Uttarakhand Nears Completion of Updated Disaster Management Plans
Dehradun: The comprehensive revision of Uttarakhand's State Disaster Management Plan (SDMP) and all District Disaster Management Plans (DDMPs) is approaching its final stages, with official release expected imminently. This announcement was made by Vinod Kumar Suman, Secretary of Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, during a high-level review meeting held on Tuesday.
Review Meeting and Progress Assessment
Chairing the crucial review session, Secretary Suman meticulously evaluated the current status of the revision process and issued specific directives to the concerned officials. Senior representatives from the disaster management department were in attendance, providing updates that confirmed the updating work for both state and district-level plans is nearing completion.
