Car Rams Truck on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Four Killed
Four persons died and two others were injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into a truck from behind on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, police said. The accident occurred around 11 am near Sitamau town, according to officials.
Sitamau police station in-charge Kamlesh Prajapati confirmed that the speeding car hit the truck from behind. Two individuals died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries during treatment at a hospital. The car was registered in Maharashtra, Prajapati added.
Two Injured Undergoing Treatment
The two injured persons are currently receiving medical care at the district hospital in Mandsaur. Police have initiated an investigation into the accident. Authorities are examining the cause of the crash, including potential factors such as overspeeding or driver fatigue.
