US Military Unveils '100 Hours of Epic Fury' Video Detailing Massive Strikes on Iran
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has publicly released a comprehensive video compilation titled "100 Hours of Operation Epic Fury," providing a stark visual account of the initial phase of the joint US-Israeli military campaign against Iran. The release comes as the conflict, now in its sixth day, continues to escalate with significant casualties reported across the region.
Unprecedented Scale of Military Operations
According to official statements from CENTCOM, the first four days of Operation Epic Fury involved a staggering scale of military action. The command reported executing more than 2,000 precision strikes utilizing over 2,000 advanced munitions launched from a coordinated triad of air, land, and sea platforms. This massive offensive has reportedly resulted in the sinking of more than 20 Iranian naval vessels and a dramatic reduction in Iran's offensive capabilities.
"Iranian drone launches have plummeted by 73 percent, while ballistic missile launches have seen an 86 percent decrease since the operation commenced," a CENTCOM spokesperson stated, emphasizing the effectiveness of the campaign in degrading Iran's military infrastructure. The command further announced that US forces are now expanding their strike operations deeper into Iranian sovereign airspace to maintain pressure.
Leadership Statements and Strategic Objectives
In the released video, military officials describe the ongoing campaign in historic terms. "This represents the most lethal, most complex, and most precise aerial operation in recorded history," one official asserts. A narrative voiceover outlines the operation's core justification, stating, "Our military forces in the Middle East are engaged in an unprecedented operation designed to eliminate Iran's capacity to threaten American citizens, a threat that has persisted for nearly five decades."
The video features a particularly pointed declaration: "We did not initiate this war, but under the leadership of President Trump, we are determined to conclude it." CENTCOM reinforced this stance, affirming that "combat operations continue at full intensity and will persist until all strategic objectives are fully achieved."
Casualty Figures and Iranian Counter-Claims
The human cost of the conflict is becoming increasingly apparent. Preliminary reports from officials indicate that more than 1,000 individuals have been killed within Iran, over 70 in Lebanon, and approximately a dozen in Israel. These figures stem from the initial US and Israeli strikes on Saturday, which resulted in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several other high-ranking officials, triggering widespread retaliatory actions from Tehran.
In response to a series of claims disseminated by Iranian state media, CENTCOM issued a forceful rebuttal on Wednesday, categorically labeling the reports as "fake news." The Iranian claims, which alleged US forces were withdrawing from the region, had suffered losses of fighter aircraft and a destroyer, and that 100 US Marines had been killed, were dismissed with a terse, "ALL LIES."
Political and Military Coordination
The Pentagon has confirmed that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is scheduled to visit CENTCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, for a detailed operational briefing. During his visit, Secretary Hegseth is expected to meet directly with CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper to receive the latest intelligence and strategic updates on the ongoing campaign against Iran.
From the White House, President Donald Trump expressed strong confidence in the campaign's progress. Speaking from the Indian Treaty Room, Trump stated, "We are performing exceptionally well on the war front, to put it mildly. When asked to rate it on a scale of ten, I would say it's about a fifteen." He highlighted the significant degradation of Iran's missile arsenal, noting, "Their missiles and launchers are being rapidly eliminated."
Reflecting on the long-standing tensions, President Trump added, "Iran has represented a tremendous threat to the United States and Israel for 47 years. We are now in a very strong position, and this operation stands as a great display of American military strength and resolve." The administration continues to frame Operation Epic Fury as a decisive action to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus and neutralize imminent threats posed to US interests and allies.
