Five people were injured after a car rammed into pedestrians in the town centre of Arnold in Nottinghamshire, England, in the early hours of Saturday. Police have launched a manhunt for the driver, who fled on foot after abandoning the vehicle.

According to Nottinghamshire Police, a red Vauxhall Astra struck multiple pedestrians at Market Place in Arnold at around 1:10 AM local time. One man suffered life-threatening injuries, while four others sustained less serious injuries. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and three victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
Driver Abandons Car, Escapes on Foot
Police said the driver abandoned the vehicle shortly after the incident and fled the area on foot. Officers have identified a suspect, believed to be a white man, and searches are ongoing to locate him, as reported by the BBC. Investigators believe an argument took place in Arnold town centre shortly before the car was driven into the group.
