Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, according to a military source speaking to Iran's Fars News Agency. The agency reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy is not issuing any permits for vessel passage until further notice. This step is described as the first response to a "breach of promise," with further measures planned if aggression continues.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis in Burgenstock during the delegation's first official engagement in Switzerland. The meeting focused on bilateral and regional issues. Separately, on Sunday, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon engaged in a heated exchange with UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Vanessa Frazier after she interrupted his remarks regarding allegations of sexual violence by Israeli soldiers and settlers against Palestinians.
