Indian Family, Toddler Pepper-Sprayed in San Antonio River Walk Attack
Indian toddler pepper-sprayed in US boat attack

An Indian family vacationing in Texas became victims of a shocking pepper-spray assault during what should have been a peaceful boat ride on San Antonio's famous River Walk. The incident, which occurred on November 15, left at least eight people including a toddler exposed to the chemical irritant after a woman reacted violently to being asked to lower her phone volume.

The Unprovoked Attack on Tourists

The trouble began when a boat operator requested a female passenger to reduce the volume of her mobile phone, which was disturbing other tourists. Instead of complying, the woman became confrontational and began shouting at the captain. The victims were not even the individuals who had initially objected to her behavior, making the attack particularly random and unjustified.

As the situation escalated, the boat operator decided to stop the vessel and ask the disruptive passenger to disembark. It was after getting off the boat that she unleashed her pepper spray canister directly at the passengers, affecting multiple people including the Indian family with their young child.

Chaotic Scenes and Viral Aftermath

Cellphone videos captured the woman's threatening behavior as she warned fellow passengers, "Stop recording me, or I'll slap you. I will slap you, I will, I will." The footage quickly went viral across social media platforms, drawing widespread condemnation.

Despite police arriving immediately at the scene, the attacker had already fled and remains unidentified. In a disturbing twist, viral videos claimed that the woman later responded to the incident on her TikTok account, expressing no remorse and even threatening to slap everyone on the boat.

Indian Family Files Complaint

A social media user claiming acquaintance with the affected Indian family provided updates about their condition. The family has filed an official complaint against the unidentified woman and is reportedly doing fine after the traumatic experience.

"At San Antonio we have the river walk. It has a boat ride where the captain of the boat will explain about the history on river walk," the acquaintance wrote. "This young lady was using her mobile loud where he requested her to lower her volume which is kind of disturbing other tourists on the boat. She made the situation very worse by shouting at the captain and while leaving she used pepper spray on the tourists which affected my friends family with 3 yr old kid as well."

The San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate the November 15 incident, but no arrests have been made as the search for the pepper-spray attacker continues.
