Owens made these serious claims during her appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored on December 18. Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. The case remains under active investigation, with authorities yet to confirm any internal involvement. However, Owens stated a gut feeling prompted her to act.
"There is specifically two people at Turning Point USA and I have communicated that information to Erika and Justin Strife that I would not be surprised if they had foreknowledge of Charlie Kirk being assassinated," Owens told Piers Morgan.
No Concrete Evidence, But Strong Suspicions
When Morgan pressed her for proof to back such a grave allegation, Owens admitted she had none. This, she explained, was precisely why she refused to name the individuals publicly. "I’m not going to name those people. Okay. Because it’s not right for me to name those people until I know for a fact that they are involved," Owens clarified.
She confirmed, however, that she had shared the names privately with Erika Kirk. Morgan summarised the situation by stating Owens had told the widow that two current TPUSA employees may have been involved—without evidence.
Owens pushed back against the framing, insisting she was not making an accusation but rather pointing to areas that deserved more scrutiny. "I told them that if I were in your shoes, these would be two employees that I would look further into," she added.
