Under the Amrit Bharat stations initiative, works at Karaikudi, Sholavandan, Srivilliputhur, and Manapparai have been completed and are ready for inauguration. The remaining stations are scheduled for completion by May, further modernizing the rail infrastructure.

A significant milestone is the achievement of 100% electrification with the commissioning of the Ramanathapuram–Rameswaram section, promoting energy efficiency and sustainability.
