Axiscades' Mistral Solutions Secures Major Rs 80 Crore Contract for Tejas-Mk1A Fighter Jet Programme
In a significant development for India's defence manufacturing sector, Bengaluru-based Axiscades Technologies announced on Monday that its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, has secured a substantial order worth approximately Rs 80 crore. This contract falls under Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's (HAL) prestigious LCA-Mk1A (Tejas-Mk1A) programme, marking a crucial step forward in indigenous avionics production.
Critical Hardware Supply for Advanced Fighter Jet Systems
Mistral Solutions, renowned for its expertise in high-performance embedded systems and defence electronics, will be responsible for supplying essential hardware components for two vital subsystems of the Tejas-Mk1A aircraft. The company will manufacture and deliver key elements for the mission computer and the smart multifunction display, both critical to the fighter jet's operational capabilities.
This contract significantly reinforces the Axiscades group's established role in the indigenisation of advanced avionics systems, while also strengthening its longstanding strategic partnership with premier defence organisations. Domestic Manufacturing at Newly Commissioned Facility
All equipment covered under this substantial order will be manufactured domestically at Axiscades' newly commissioned Defence and Aerospace Laboratory (DAL) facility. This state-of-the-art complex is strategically located at the Devanahalli Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
The company has positioned this facility as a dedicated hub for the domestic production of sensitive defence electronics, aligning perfectly with national priorities for secure and self-sufficient defence manufacturing.
