Dhanbad NEET 2026 Re-Conduct: Preparations Complete at Seven Centres

The Dhanbad district administration has finalized all arrangements for the re-conduct of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination, scheduled for June 21. The exam will be held at seven designated centres across the district. To ensure a peaceful, fair, and malpractice-free examination, Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan chaired a review meeting via video conferencing.

During the meeting, the deputy commissioner issued directives to magistrates, police officials, and centre superintendents deployed for examination duty, in line with a joint order from the administration. He emphasized strict vigilance and adherence to all prescribed protocols to guarantee a transparent and malpractice-free process.

The DC also instructed members of the District-Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) to conduct a comprehensive review of arrangements at all examination centres and verify compliance with all guidelines. A dedicated control room will remain operational throughout the examination period to monitor the situation and maintain law and order.

The seven examination centres are: PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Dhanbad; Degree College RSP-2, Jamadoba; BIT Sindri; Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University; IIT (ISM) Dhanbad; SSLNT College, Dhanbad; and R S More College, Govindpur.

For general candidates, the examination will run from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates under the Persons With Disabilities (PWD) category will receive additional time, with the exam continuing until 6:15 PM.

The meeting was attended by all deputed magistrates, police officials, centre superintendents, and other officers.
