The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the comprehensive schedule for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) examinations for the September to November 2026 cycle. This timetable encompasses the CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, CA Final, and two post-qualification member examinations.
Application Process
Candidates can submit their online examination forms starting from July 6, 2026, through the CA Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org. The application process will remain open until July 19, 2026, without any late fee. Those who miss this deadline can apply with a late fee until July 22, 2026. A correction window will be available from July 23 to July 25, 2026, allowing students to modify their exam city, medium, or other preferences after submission.
ICAI has emphasized that examination applications will be accepted exclusively through the online mode. Once the examination dates are announced, they will not be altered, even if any exam day is later declared a public holiday by the central or state government.

The detailed schedule for the CA examinations is as follows:
CA Foundation
September 2, 5, 7, 9
CA Intermediate
- Group I: September 1, 3, 6
- Group II: September 8, 10, 12
CA Final
- Group I: November 2, 4, 6
- Group II: November 9, 11, 13
Post-Qualification Examinations
- International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT): November 11, 13
- Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Exam: November 6, 9, 11, 13
Exam Timings
Most examination papers will be conducted for three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM. However, Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be of two hours duration. Final Paper 6 and the International Taxation Assessment Test will be held for four hours. Students will receive a 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM before the exam begins, except for Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and post-qualification examinations.
Examination Fee
For Indian exam centres, the fee structure is as follows:
- CA Foundation: Rs 1,500
- CA Intermediate: Rs 1,500 for a single group, Rs 2,700 for both groups
- CA Final: Rs 1,800 for a single group, Rs 3,300 for both groups
ICAI has allowed students to choose either English or Hindi medium for writing the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations. Candidates are advised to carefully review all dates and complete the application process within the stipulated deadlines to avoid late fees.
