Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has officially announced the schedule for admissions and online registration for students aiming to enroll in Classes 9 through 12 for the 2026-27 academic session.
Key Dates and Guidelines
Board secretary Bhagwati Singh issued comprehensive guidelines covering admissions, fee submission, registration, and uploading of student records on the board's official website. According to the schedule, the last date for admission to Classes 9 and 11 is August 5. However, students who pass the High School compartment examination or are declared successful after result scrutiny can take admission to Class 11 until August 20.
The board has also set August 5 as the final date for admission to Classes 10 and 12, as well as for the collection of examination fees by school principals. Alongside the schedule, the board has notified the examination fees for High School and Intermediate students.
Registration and Fee Details
For Classes 9 and 11, schools must deposit an advance registration fee of Rs 40 per student via treasury challan and upload the fee details along with students' academic information on the board portal by August 25. The board has also specified timelines for verification of uploaded data and correction of errors.
The secretary has directed schools to ensure that all academic details—including students' names, parents' names, date of birth, gender, and selected subjects—are uploaded only after proper verification with school records by class teachers and principals. Any discrepancy in the uploaded information will hold the class teacher and principal accountable.
Document Submission
The board has further instructed schools to send photo-attested nominal rolls and related treasury documents to the respective regional offices through the district inspector of schools office. The last date for submission of these documents is September 30.
Examination Fees
The examination fee for institutional High School candidates has been fixed at Rs 500, while private candidates will pay Rs 700. For Intermediate examinations, institutional candidates must pay Rs 600, and private candidates Rs 800.
