VITEEE 2026 Results Announced
The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially declared the results for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 on May 8. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now access and download their rank cards from the official website at vit.ac.in. VITEEE 2026 Counselling Process
Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination will be invited to participate in phase-wise counselling based on their ranks. The institute is expected to release the detailed counselling schedule and admission guidelines shortly.
VITEEE is conducted every year for admission to BTech programmes offered across VIT campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Bhopal, and Bengaluru.
VITEEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The VITEEE 2026 examination was conducted between April 28 and May 3 in two sessions daily. Candidates could check their allotted exam date, test city, and shift timing through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) portal. The examination consisted of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer carried four marks, while one mark was deducted for every incorrect response. No marks were deducted for unanswered or marked-for-review questions.
The question paper included a total of 125 questions divided into the following sections:
- Mathematics/Biology – 40 questions
- Physics – 35 questions
- Chemistry – 35 questions
- Aptitude – 10 questions
- English – 5 questions
