Deputy Commissioner Preeti on Friday convened a meeting with centre superintendents, supervisors, duty magistrates, and police officials at the district secretariat to assess the readiness for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG), scheduled for June 21. She issued comprehensive guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
Key Directions for Candidates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET-UG on June 21 from 2 pm to 5 pm. She also announced that candidates with disabilities would receive an additional one hour and 20 minutes, while general candidates would be granted an extra 15 minutes.
She further stressed the importance of close coordination between centre superintendents and duty magistrates. Robust security measures have been implemented, with both police personnel and CRPF officers deployed at the examination centres.
