CBSE Class 10 Social Science Exam 2026 Successfully Conducted Nationwide
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) administered the Class 10 Social Science examination on March 7, 2026. The test was scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm across numerous examination centers throughout India.
Exam Structure and Format Details
The question paper adhered to the conventional CBSE pattern, comprising a total of 80 marks. It incorporated a diverse range of question types designed to assess various skills. These included multiple choice questions (MCQs), short answer questions, long answer questions, case-based questions, and a map work section.
Student Feedback Reveals Divergent Perspectives on Difficulty
Initial post-exam feedback from candidates indicates the paper was generally perceived as moderate. However, the level of difficulty appeared to fluctuate significantly depending on the specific question set assigned to the student.
Mixed reactions emerged prominently among examinees. Divya, a student from CM Shri School located in Tukhmirpur, Karawal Nagar, New Delhi, who attempted Set 3, described her experience as challenging.
"The paper ranged from moderate to difficult, but I predominantly found it to be difficult," she informed TOI following the conclusion of the exam.
In contrast, Naman, a student from Government Boys Senior Secondary School in Tukhmirpur, who received Set 1, reported a more favorable assessment.
"It was easy," he stated simply in his comments to TOI.
