He explained the circumstances that led to the accident, stating that he and Rupali were crossing a street in Guwahati when a motorcycle collided with them. The actor was quick to emphasize that they both are fine, though he mentioned that Rupali is currently under medical observation as a precautionary measure.
"I am live at a strange time, just to let you all know," Ashish said, referring to the late-night timing of his broadcast. "Because I am now seeing what all is coming on many news channels. Rupali and I were crossing the street yesterday and a bike hit us. We both are fine. Rupali is under observation. All is well, I am good. It's a minor injury... but absolutely fine."
