Confined to the reality show set with no traditional instruments available, Vasuki and his fellow contestants turned to everyday objects to build the track's foundation.

Using buckets, furniture, and whatever items were at hand, the group developed rhythmic patterns that gave the song its distinctive raw and organic charm. For years after his Bigg Boss stint, Vasuki faced constant requests about the song. "Wherever I went, eight out of ten people would ask me when I would officially release Gira Gira," he recalls. The persistent fan interest, combined with positive responses when performing the song live with his band at concerts, convinced him that the track deserved proper treatment.
This realization led to the creation of the new official version, which features dancer Mayuri Nataraja and represents a significant evolution from the original improvisation. While maintaining the emotional core that made the song special, Vasuki and his team have refined the production to create a more polished final product.
Evolution of Sound and Visual Storytelling
"Back then it was very raw. Now it's been produced and slightly reworked," Vasuki explains about the transformation. The video, directed by Prakyath Narayan, stays true to the song's emotional essence while introducing professional production values that were impossible during the original Bigg Boss recording.
The visual narrative uses dance as a primary means of expression, with Vasuki requesting that the dancers portray his inner emotional world. "I told the director I wanted the dancers to portray my feelings. He suggested a quirky romantic approach, and that's what we went with," he reveals about the creative process behind the video's conception.
Looking Ahead: More Releases Planned
Vasuki Vaibhav has additional musical projects in the pipeline, including another fan favorite from his reality show days titled Mansinda Yarunu Kettoralla. This suggests that the success of Gira Gira's official release may pave the way for more polished versions of songs that originated in unconventional circumstances.
