A shocking incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar district on Wednesday morning, where a man allegedly shot his sister-in-law before taking his own life, with police suspecting a love affair as the motive. The tragic event occurred around 9:30 am inside a locked room at the man's in-laws' house in Basdila Buzurg village.
Details of the Incident
The accused, identified as Jitendra Prasad (27), originally from Dharamchak village in Bihar's Gopalganj district, had arrived at his in-laws' home on Tuesday evening. He had married Shambhu Prajapati's daughter approximately 11 months ago and stayed overnight after having dinner with the family.
