The intimate gathering brought together some of Hindi cinema's most celebrated directors, offering them an early look at the much-anticipated Apoorva Lakhia directorial based on the Galwan Valley clash.

Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai shared a group picture from the evening on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the star-studded gathering. The photograph featured Salman Khan, Sooraj Barjatya, David Dhawan, Kabir Khan, Rumi Jafry, Riteish Deshmukh, Chitrangada Singh, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Apoorva Lakhia, and others. Salman was seen in an all-black outfit, while Chitrangada Singh looked graceful in a white ensemble.

About 'Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace'

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and earlier titled 'Battle of Galwan', the film is reportedly based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. The film was initially slated for an April 2026 release but was pushed back amid changes, including a title revision. The makers are yet to officially announce a final release date. Salman has been actively promoting the project on social media, sharing songs and promotional videos in the lead-up to its release.
