Allen Ferrell, a U.S.-based YouTuber and social media creator known for filming unusual challenges and prank-style videos, has been banned for life from all Six Flags amusement parks. The ban comes after he filmed himself eating chicken nuggets while riding Cedar Point's famous Millennium Force roller coaster in Ohio. Ferrell, who has built a large audience on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram by taking on attention-grabbing tasks, uploaded a video showing himself sneaking a 10-piece box of chicken nuggets onto the 310-foot-tall coaster, which reaches speeds of about 93 mph. During the ride, he ate several nuggets and even attempted to use dipping sauce while the coaster was moving.
Six Flags Responds to the Stunt
The video quickly spread across social media and drew attention from park officials, who stated that the stunt broke important safety rules. According to Cedar Point and its parent company Six Flags, loose items, including food, are not allowed on rides because they can create safety risks for riders and people nearby. After reviewing the video, Six Flags announced that Ferrell would no longer be allowed at any of its parks. A Cedar Point spokesperson told WTOL, "This guest has been banned from all Six Flags parks for life." The spokesperson added, "Safety is a cornerstone of our business and we have zero tolerance for inappropriate and unsafe behavior. Our ride safety policy strictly prohibits all loose articles on rides, including food which can become a choking hazard."
Ferrell's Reaction to the Ban
Ferrell later reacted to the punishment while speaking with FOX 8 Cleveland. He said, "I had no idea that eating a 10-piece chicken nugget on a rollercoaster would be a national headline, but here we are." He also revealed that Cedar Point initially considered taking legal action, but both sides eventually worked things out. Ferrell stated, "This would be the first time one of my challenges has gotten me banned indefinitely." Despite the ban, he said he understood the park's concerns. "They just don't want other people getting hurt on the ride. But me personally, it was a really fun challenge," he explained.
Online Discussion and Safety Implications
The case has sparked discussion online about how far content creators should go for views and whether viral challenges are worth the risks. For Cedar Point and Six Flags, however, the message was clear: safety rules apply to everyone, no matter how popular they are online. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to safety regulations in amusement parks, where even seemingly harmless actions can lead to serious consequences.
