Avirup Sengupta's dance school recently presented a captivating dance production titled Jagannath Swami Nayanapathagami Bhavatu Me at a city auditorium. The programme featured performances by Avirup and Riddhi Bandyopadhyay, bringing together dance, narration, and devotional elements.
The concept and music curation for the production were designed by Riddhi. The recitation of the Jagannath Stotra formed an integral part of the presentation and was woven into the choreography by Avirup. The seamless integration of narration and dance created a spiritually enriching experience for the audience.
The performance explored themes of devotion through movement, music, and spoken word, creating an immersive stage presentation for the audience. Organisers also indicated that excerpts from the production may be showcased at a future NABC programme in New York.
