Nashik Ayurveda Practitioner Found Dead in Apparent Suicide
In a tragic incident in Nashik, Maharashtra, a 40-year-old Ayurveda practitioner, Manisha Jejurkar, was discovered hanging at her residence in D K Nagar, Gangapur Road, on Friday morning. The body was found by her husband, Nilesh Jejurkar, who serves as a psychiatrist at the Nashik Civil Hospital, along with their two children at approximately 11:30 am.
Details of the Discovery
According to Inspector Kishore Pagar, the investigation officer, Nilesh Jejurkar and a neighbor, also a doctor, had left the home to pick up their children from school. Upon returning, Jejurkar and the children entered the house and found Manisha hanging from the rod of the main bedroom window. Jejurkar immediately called his doctor neighbor, who examined Manisha and declared her dead at the scene.
Police Investigation and Initial Findings
The Gangapur police have registered a case of accidental death in connection with the incident. As of now, no suicide note has been recovered from the deceased woman. Inspector Pagar stated that the police are actively working to determine the motive behind this extreme step. He mentioned, "There could have been a dispute between the couple, which could have led the woman to take the desperate step. Nonetheless, the investigation is ongoing."
The authorities are conducting a thorough probe to uncover any underlying issues or conflicts that might have contributed to the tragedy. The community has been left in shock by the sudden loss of the Ayurveda practitioner, and further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.
