Dr Mahantesh Ramannavar, who serves as the professor and head of the department of physiology at KLE BM Kankanwadi Ayurveda College, was presented with the Ayurveda Vishwaratna Award. The award was conferred by the Kaje Ayurvedic Foundation. Its founder, Dr Giridhar Kaje, personally presented the honour to Dr Ramannavar.
