A tragic incident occurred in Nagpur's Miyakhan Colony under Kotwali police station on Saturday, where a five-year-old boy died of suspected heatstroke. The child, identified as Mohammad Sultan Mohammad Siddiqui, developed severe health complications after taking a cold-water bath at home and succumbed shortly thereafter.
Sequence of Events
According to police reports, the boy was playing outside and went to his grandmother's house around 11 am on Saturday, May 30. After returning home, he took a cold bath. Immediately afterward, he complained of dizziness and fell unconscious, alarming his family members.
Emergency Response
Panicked relatives rushed him to Mayo Hospital, where doctors examined the child. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at approximately 12:30 pm. The police have registered the case as an accidental death based on the family's statement and the medical report.

The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, though initial inquiries suggest it could be related to heatwave-induced health complications. The sudden loss has left the entire locality in shock, with residents expressing deep grief over the young boy's untimely demise.
