She went into premature labour late on the night of March 24, with officials estimating she was approximately six to seven months pregnant. Shortly after giving birth at home, she began bleeding profusely, leading to a critical condition.
As her health deteriorated rapidly, she was first rushed to a private hospital. However, doctors there referred her to a government facility for specialised care. She was subsequently moved to Sassoon General Hospital, where despite intensive medical efforts, both she and the infant passed away during treatment. Doctors reported that the newborn died a few hours after the mother's death, despite attempts to save the baby.
