The Maharashtra government has announced that it will bear the complete cost of school education up to Class 10 for the two minor girls who were victims in the Badlapur school sexual assault case. This decision was revealed by the school education minister, Dada Bhuse.

Under this initiative, the government will cover admission fees from Class 1 to Class 10 for one of the girls. For the second girl, the government will pay the pending Senior KG fees along with all school admission costs until Class 10.
