Jharkhand Unites in Patriotic Fervor for National Song Milestone
Government offices, organizations, and institutions across Jharkhand commemorated a significant historical milestone on Friday as they observed the 150th anniversary of India's national song 'Vande Mataram' with remarkable enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The statewide celebrations paid homage to the song's composer and its crucial role in India's freedom struggle.
Tribute to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay's Legacy
The celebrations served as a heartfelt tribute to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the literary genius who composed the iconic 'Vande Mataram' in 1875. Across multiple cities including Ranchi, Chatra, and Dhanbad, officials, employees, and citizens gathered at various venues to collectively sing the national song and reflect on its profound historical significance in shaping India's independence movement.
Statewide Participation in Celebrations
At Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi, airport staff and officials came together for a collective rendition of the national song, creating a moment of unity and patriotism. Similar programs were organized at numerous government departments, educational institutions, and cultural centers throughout Jharkhand, demonstrating widespread participation.
The Central Mine Planning Design Institute (CMPDI) joined the national commemoration by organizing collective singing ceremonies at its headquarters and regional institutes. Meanwhile, the state unit of BJP conducted mass singing programs at its state headquarters and district offices to mark the occasion.
BJP state president Babulal Marandi extended his congratulations and best wishes to the people of Jharkhand on this historic 150th anniversary of the national song, emphasizing its enduring importance in the nation's cultural and political consciousness.
