JDA Sets Record with Digital Services in May

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) achieved a record number of applications through its digital platforms in May, according to a press release issued by the civic body on Tuesday.

Record Application Processing

The release stated that JDA resolved 2,845 out of 3,119 applications received in May. 'The JDA is continuously working towards expanding citizen amenities and making the service delivery system more transparent and accountable,' said Siddharth Mahajan, JDA commissioner.

Highest Number of E-Pattas

The highest number of applications accepted on digital platforms in May were for e-pattas (lease/freehold deeds). JDA issued 1,976 e-pattas during the month. Additionally, 429 cases regarding transfer of ownership were successfully resolved, and 148 cases related to sub-division and reorganisation were sorted out. Around 13 One-Time Lease Certificates (OTLC) were also issued in May.

'We are continuously strengthening our digital process to ensure that every citizen receives high-quality services within the stipulated timeframe,' Mahajan added.

The JDA's digital push aims to improve efficiency and reduce paperwork, making it easier for citizens to access services. The record number of applications processed reflects the growing adoption of digital platforms among Jaipur residents.
